Following Jesus

Following Jesus is a decision that radically changes your life FOREVER. This world’s system can produce hardship, pain, suffering, defeat, and worry. God’s intentional plan was never for us to be consumed and controlled by such challenges. Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection opened the door to the life that God purposed for us to have. Even in the midst of life’s most challenging situations, love, joy and peace, is available to you. He cares for you, loves you, and desires a new life and a relationship with you TODAY. Choose to follow Jesus. He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6)

He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).

GOD’S LOVE

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. – John 3:16-17

But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. – Romans 5:8

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. – I John 4:7

REPENT (MAKE A U TURN)

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. – I John 1:9

The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. – 2 Peter 3:9

If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. – 2 Chronicles 7:14

And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. – Acts 2:38

FAITH CONFESSION

And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. – Acts 2:21

Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. – Romans 10:9-10

By this, you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, And every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already. – I John 4:2-3

ETERNITY

Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment but has passed from death to life. – John 5:24

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. – Romans 6:23

Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. – John 14:1-3
